Requirements
Dry-pressed high-performance ceramics are required to create an industrial floor with minimal joints and a possible joint width of max. 2.5 mm for a long-lasting application. Extruded products such as split tiles do not meet the requirements for density and dimensional stability.

Planning and installation
Careful planning is crucial to ensure optimum usability and durability. A bonded floor tile installation is important in order to distribute loads optimally. A static calculation is required for the insulation under the vibrated floor.
Movement and building separation joints, sloping situations including floor- and trench drains and areas with different requirements for slip resistance must be prepared accordingly or taken into account when selecting the product. To avoid a possible weak point, the quality of heavy-duty expansion profiles in traffic areas should correspond to the quality of Argelith tiles. Here too, our project sales managers will be happy to assist you in selecting an appropriate supplier. After preparing the floor slab, the tiles are installed by hand at very high speed and mechanically vibrated into the fresh mortar bed by the heavy vibration machines.

Grouting
