Hygienic standards are extremely high, especially in the production areas of the dairy industry. The flooring in these production facilities must be absolutely resistant to the penetration of bacteria and must also be easy to clean.
Argelith porcelain stoneware tiles meet these requirements thanks to their high product density with a water absorption rate of <0.1% and the mv-tec® surface coating, which, in addition to permanently “sealing” the surface, also ensures the required slip resistance class on every cm.
Falling objects, vehicles with plastic wheels and silos weighing several tons pose no problem for the 15 mm to 18 mm thick tiles. Our premium product Hexalith®, with the general product properties of our porcelain stoneware and the available slip resistance classes up to R13 V10, is predestined for use in hygienic wet areas, especially thanks to its hexagonal shape.
The perfect transition to channels and drains is achievable without waste, and the shortened edge length of the tiles provides additional protection against chipping and other mechanical damage.
The associated accessory tiles, such as coved base skirtings, which can be installed vertically or horizontally, internal and external corners or pre-cut miters, complete the hygienic flooring system.
