ARGELITH TILES IN HYGIENIC WET AREAS
Resistance to High Loads
Brewery floors are exposed to heavy impacts: forklift traffic, rubber abrasion, hot liquids and cleaning agents with acids and alkalis. Argelith tiles are resistant to these influences and can also withstand enormous point loads from brewing tanks. The Hexalith tile, fired at over 1,200°C, offers particularly high strength.
Chemical Resistance and Durability
Argelith tiles are resistant to aggressive cleaning agents and protect the floor from acids and alkalis. Thanks to their dense structure and the special dry pressing process, they have an extremely low water absorption of less than 0.1%, which enables quick and effective cleaning.
Optimized Joints and Installation
The vibration process reduces the joint width to around 2.5 mm (compared to conventional 6-10 mm). This minimizes dirt accumulation, prevents bacteria build-up and ensures improved aesthetics. In addition, the risk of cracks and damage is reduced as the load on the edges of the tiles is reduced. This effect is greatly enhanced by the hexagonal shape of our Hexalith® product.
Slip Resistance for Safe Working Conditions
In wet areas, such as the fermenting cellar, Argelith tiles with an R10 surface offer optimum slip resistance. This complies with the technical regulations for workplaces (ASR A1.5/1.2) and increases the safety of your employees. We offer slip resistance classes from R9 to R13 V10.
Finishing for easy maintenance
The mvtec technology baked into the body gives the tiles an even more resistant surface that provides long-term protection against abrasion. The tiles not only remain hygienic, but are also easy to clean, which saves an enormous amount of time and money over the years.
Professional Installation for Maximum Durability
For optimum results, Argelith tiles should be installed with epoxy resin adhesive and epoxy resin joints. These materials ensure better adhesion to the foundation and protect against cracks and unevenness that could be caused by thermal and chemical influences.
